Josh Kappel, founding partner of Vicente LLP and one of the country’s leading psychedelic policy attorneys, will speak at the 2026 Aspen Psychedelic Symposium, taking place June 6–7 at the historic Wheeler Opera House in Aspen, Colorado. Vicente LLP is also proud to sponsor this year’s symposium.
Hosted by the Aspen Psychedelic Resource Center, Healing Advocacy Fund and Aspen Public Radio, this two-day event gathers researchers, clinicians, advocates and community leaders to discuss the future of psychedelic medicine, public policy and healing. The symposium includes expert panels, scientific research talks and discussions on education, harm reduction and access.
The State of Psychedelic Access in Colorado
Josh has played a key role in psychedelic policy reform in Colorado, including co-authoring the Natural Medicine Health Act. On Saturday, June 6, Josh will participate in a panel titled The State of Psychedelic Access in Colorado alongside Ean Seeb. The discussion will analyze how Colorado’s psychedelic regulations are developing following the passage of the Natural Medicine Health Act.
Josh and Ean will discuss new access models, operational challenges and the future of regulated psychedelic services in the state.
