USA: New Iberia resident arrested after Lafayette Police recover $69,000 in marijuana following narcotics investigation

A New Iberia resident was arrested after the Lafayette Police Narcotics Unit recovered 7.6 pounds of high-grade marijuana valued at $69,100 on Jan. 21, according to a statement from the Lafayette Police Department.

LPD’s investigation, with help from the New Iberia Police Department, led to the discovery that the marijuana belonged to Kan Phounsavat of New Iberia.
