Karachi: Pakistan Maritime Security Agency seized 15 kg of crystal ice and 28 kg of hashish during 2 separate operations in the open sea.

According to Express News, the value of the seized drugs in the global market is around 4 crore rupees, 12 smugglers were arrested during the operation. During one operation, the smugglers set fire to the boat and jumped into the sea to destroy the evidence.

Deputy DG Maritime Security Agency Commodore Aamir Iqbal Khan said that Pakistan Maritime Security Agency and Pakistan Customs conducted an intelligence operation against drug smugglers in the open sea of ​​Karachi and Gwadar, during which 2 different operations worth crores of rupees were seized. Caught drugs.

During the operation, 12 smugglers were arrested and 15 kg of crystal ice and 28 kg of hashish were recovered, the total value of which is around 4 crore rupees.

On the other hand, Commodore Amir Iqbal says that the smugglers had set fire to the boat and jumped into the sea, due to which 1000 kg of crystal ice worth more than 12.5 billion rupees were burnt to ashes.
