Gibraltar’s Minister of Public Health announced to Parliament that the Government will soon publish to create a well-regulated medical cannabis industry in Gibraltar.
John Cortes, Gibraltar’s Minister of Public Health, made the announcement on 21 July, noting that legislation is being prepared that will create a legal framework for cannabis for medicinal purposes. The diploma is expected to be published later this year and will regulate the activities of production, import, export, marketing and supply of cannabis for medicinal and related purposes, including the creation of quality jobs.
