Dealer tried hiding cocaine by dumping it in a police car, Nebraska authorities say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A man is accused of trying to scatter cocaine throughout a police car after getting arrested, to try and get rid of evidence.

This all started early Sunday morning near North Broadwell Avenue and West 13th Street, where Grand Island Police say Ross Otto was driving too fast.

They say he pushed and pulled away from officers while they removed him from his vehicle, which also reeked of alcohol.

Police say Otto then began dumping the cocaine once he was in custody, so they moved him to another car, leading to even more fighting.

Otto’s passenger was eventually arrested as well.  Austin Munoz admitted to having cocaine in his wallet, according to GIPD.
