SoCal-based delivery service Grassdoor ceased operations today, according to two sources familiar with the situation. The news comes a day before the “Green Wednesday” shopping rush.
The site is down and not currently accepting orders. Management did not respond to requests for comment.
Grassdoor, which was sued this month for allegedly owing a vendor $89,000, was once among the largest delivery services in the state. But the post-pandemic period has been challenging for the sector as services have struggled to differentiate themselves and build customer loyalty.
