GREENE COUNTY, Ala. (WBMA) — A Mexico resident was arrested after 57 pounds of cocaine was discovered inside an 18-wheeler in Greene County last week.
According to the 17th Judicial Circuit Drug Task Force, some of its agents initiated a traffic stop on the truck on I-20/59 on Thursday, January 25.
During the traffic stop, the task force said agents noticed several indicators of “criminal activity.”
The task force said a search of the 18-wheeler revealed a hidden aftermarket compartment that contained the cocaine.
