Portland, OR — On February 7, 2024, the Oregon Liquor and Cannabis Commission (OLCC) issued an Order of Immediate License Suspension to the recreational marijuana producer license of Solray Enterprise, Inc. due to alleged violations that pose a serious danger to public health and safety.
Solray Enterprise Inc., or any licensee representative may not allow the sale, delivery to or from, or receipt of marijuana items at the licensed premises, the harvesting of usable marijuana, the processing of marijuana or marijuana items during the period of time that the license is under suspension, except as otherwise permitted by the Commission. (OAR 845-025-8580 (4)).
The immediate suspension was based on two alleged violations, which the OLCC will act on separately from the Order of Immediate Suspension.
The first violation alleges that on, or about January 2, 2024, the Licensee of Solray Enterprise Inc., or its employees, agents, or representatives transferred marijuana items to an unlicensed location when the Licensee and/or the Licensee’s employees, agents, or representatives transferred marijuana items in a manner not permitted by Licensee’s license by transferring about 80 pounds of usable marijuana from the licensed (producer) premises and delivering it to a private residence.
The second violation alleges that on, or before, about January 9, 2024, the Licensee of Solray Enterprise Inc. and/or the Licensee’s employees, agents, or representatives failed to provide adequate safeguards against theft or diversion of marijuana items; this is a result of the licensee’s METRC Cannabis Tracking System account reporting multiple packages of marijuana flower, with a total weight of 100 pounds, as being in inventory at the premises, when they were not located at the premises.
The Licensee has a right to a hearing to contest the Immediate License Suspension. The OLCC investigation into the violations is continuing.
