An Alabama freshman football player was arrested on drug charges Wednesday in Florida, according to AL.com and a Facebook post from the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office.
Tony Mitchell, a four-star defensive back who was pulled over by police, was charged with possession of marijuana, along with the intent to sell and/or deliver.
Christophere Lewis, his passenger, faces the same charges, and was additionally charged with “carrying a concealed firearm without a permit,” according to the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office.
