Huge cannabis farm found in Scots furniture store during late night raid as police launch probe

The cannabis farm was discovered at the former Phoenix Furniture warehouse in Southside of Glasgow at around 11.30pm on Friday.

A huge cannabis farm has been uncovered in a disused warehouse in the south side of Glasgow.

Cops swooped on the former Phoenix Furniture Centre in a late night raid, located on the corner of Niddrie Road and Torrisdale Street in the city at around 11.30pm on Friday

Police remain at the premises today as officers launch an investigation into the damning find.

Photos taken at the scene on Saturday show forensic teams in white suits hauling massive cannabis plants into the back of police vans.

Several police vehicles can be seen parked outside the warehouse.
