Members of the Lagos Maritime Police Local Command seized, during a patrol carried out on Monday along the Costa Vicentina, eight bundles of narcotics, containing a total of around 280 kilos of hashish.
According to the National Maritime Authority, officers from the Maritime Police detected, during the patrol, several suspicious packages on the beach on the south coast of Costa Vicentina.
They then travelled to the location where they confirmed that there were eight drug packages that were promptly seized.
The seized drugs were then handed over to the Judiciary Police.
