RIO GRANDE CITY, Texas – U.S. Customs Officers seized over $888,000 in cocaine from a single stop on Monday.
The stop was made at the Rio Grande City Port of Entry when officers referred an 18-wheeler transporting an empty trailer for secondary inspection.
After a canine investigation, CBP discovered 28 packages containing nearly 67 pounds of cocaine.
The cocaine seized was determined to have a street value of over $888,000.
