The State Police of Caserta have arrested a 52-year-old, originally from Aversa, for drug trafficking. The movements within the territory of the municipalities of Agro Aversano with his car aroused the suspicion of the police officers of the Aversa Public Security Police Station, who observed the “home delivery” of drugs. The man was stopped and, hidden in a compartment between the seats of the vehicle, several doses of hashish were found, along with a considerable sum of small denomination banknotes, proceeds from trafficking. An initial search at the residence where the person claimed to live was negative. Further investigations allowed to find 28 bars of hashish, weighing over 3 kilograms, hidden in an attic of the house where he was actually residing. Along with the drug, an electronic scale and equipment useful for packaging in doses were also found. Following the formalities, the man was taken to the prison of Santa Maria Capua Vetere.
