Below is a reminder from CCB staff regarding the seasonal restrictions on artificial lighting.

According to CCB Rule 1, outdoor cultivation is defined as using only the “minimum amount of artificial lighting” necessary. Additionally, the use of these lights must not extend beyond May 1 or the point when plants can sustain growth with natural sunlight, whichever comes first.

May Board meeting application deadline has closed

The deadline to be included on the register for the May Board Meeting was May 17, 2024.

In order to be ready for approval at the June Board meeting, an applicant must:

• Have fully completed their application
• Received a certificate of occupancy from fire safety (when necessary), and
• Have passed their initial compliance site review by the CCB.

An important update about inventory tracking

CCB Staff are actively working to resolve technical issues in the inventory tracking portal with transfer, acquisition, and manufacturer reporting. While we expect a complete fix in the near future, here’s what you are required to do in the meantime:

• Continue to maintain detailed internal records of transfer, acquisition and manufacturer reports.
• While you may not be able to enter harvest process lot or manufacturer process lot in the tracking portal, these records must be maintained internally while improvements to the inventory tracking portal are made.
• In the future, these fields will be required to successfully complete inventory tracking.

Once these technical issues are fully resolved, CCB staff will provide guidance and training on using the inventory tracking system.
