The Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED), in coordination with the Natural Medicine Division (NMD), has issued the enclosed Notice of Public Health Risks regarding federal and state agency actions to alert the public of health risks associated with Diamond Shruumz-branded products.
Based on information provided in the FDA notice, Diamond Shruumz-brand products are available online and at various retail locations nationwide. Please note that Diamond Shruumz-brand products are not regulated in Colorado and should not be associated with Colorado’s regulated natural medicine program, as the state is still progressing its work to implement the regulated natural medicine program pursuant to Proposition 122 and other state law.
The NMD is closely coordinating with the CDPHE and other state agencies to monitor this matter as it progresses and is prepared to take action pursuant to our authority under the Natural Medicine Code as necessary to support collective measures to protect public health, safety and awareness.
