Notice: Out-of-state vendors contacting retailers about hemp-derived THC products

The CCB has received multiple complaints concerning hemp-derived THC products being offered for sale to licensed Vermont dispensaries. The CCB understands that these products are being offered through marketing emails from out-of-state vendors.

Purchasing and selling hemp-derived THC products is a violation of CCB Rule 2.17. Additionally, buying and selling products from a source that does not hold a current VT license is a violation.

The CCB welcomes the community’s continued efforts to notify our staff when contacted with similar offers.

September Board meeting application deadline

The deadline to be included on the register for the September Board Meeting is September 17, 2024.

In order to be ready for approval at the Board meeting, an applicant must:

  • Have fully completed their application
  • Received a certificate of occupancy from fire safety (when necessary), and
  • Have passed their initial compliance site review by the CCB.
