The Ecuador Sisakuna Educational Foundation is a grassroots social organization that educates, communicates, debates, builds and proposes new legal, social, political and cultural frameworks on the drug phenomenon, with a focus on the defense of Human Rights, Evidence Scientific, Informacón, Prevention and Reduction of Risks and Damages associated with the use or consumption of psychoactive substances.
In the framework of the international CANNAMÉRICA event, held in Quíto between February 9 and 11, 2023, based at the University of Las Americas, we addressed society, the academy and the authorities, to present a proposal base for “Organic Law for the Comprehensive Regulation of Adult Use and Cannabis Self-Culture> in Ecuador <TAG1 as a dream that we pursued for 15 years in the fight for the rights of users, as an alternative of peaceful struggle and underfunding against drug trafficking, and as hope for a promising item in national ventures and industry. We bring this matter to your attention when considering the importance of your ministry in the debate on the bill.
