A 27-year-old local resident was detained; drugs were found in his jacket. On the same day, a 40-year-old foreigner was detained while handing over money, who was also involved in the smuggling and sale of drugs. An examination showed that the seized substance was Afghan hashish worth 2 million soms.
Both detainees were placed in a temporary detention facility; the investigation continues. Law enforcement officers are identifying other people involved in the crime.
