The messaging is getting stronger by the day – why anybody believed Trump is absolutely beyond me..
The campaign behind a Florida marijuana legalization ballot initiative “tricked” President Donald Trump into endorsing the reform, a state GOP senator says.
Sen. Jon Martin (R) claimed in an interview with Florida’s Voice that the Smart & Safe Florida campaign deliberately misled the public about the cannabis initiative, which received a majority of the vote last November but not enough to be enacted.
Specifically, he pointed to a “massive loophole” in the proposal that he said would have stripped the legislature of the ability to impose restrictions on public consumption.

Your most recent article, “Here We Go !! Trump “tricked” into backing cannabis legalization, GOP senator says .. reports Marijuana Moment” relies on such a silly premise; “we hate trump so much that any [even random GOP State Senator] must be telling the truth and know more of what is in trump’s head than he himself does.” It is nonsensical and outdated.
Undeniably, cannabis legalization is closer than it’s ever been under a trump administration. He endorsed FL-3 after having a conversation with the authors & lobbyists. He is a fan of huge profits and sees FL (and likely, USA) profiting off sales. His recent actions show that he is the first president to publicly scoff at administrative power (ala DEA). He also is the first President in a while to go to war with the cartels–a major vendor/distributor of cannabis.
So cut the silliness. It doesn’t matter what your weird feelings are towards the guy. Hate him all you want–the integrity of your writing should not suffer because of your inner demons. There is very likely a path to cannabis legalization under this admin and your blog is much more citable and taken more seriously if you report on facts, even concerning the scawwy wittle pwesident.
