The city of Elk River’s Liquor Operations Division has been reorganized as the Retail Operations Division and a cannabis store manager position description was approved by the Elk River City Council at it Feb. 18 meeting.
The council on Feb. 3 adopted its cannabis business plan, and the plans detail an organizational restructure and plans to begin the recruitment process for a store manager.
The cannabis store manager’s duties are similar to the liquor store manager’s job description and each will be overseen by a retail operations manager.
The cannabis store manager will be marketed at a pay grade 7E in accordance with pay equity.
