Pennsylvania: Two men were charged after they allegedly sold psilocybin mushrooms to an undercover state trooper in Lewisburg.

Lewisburg, Pa. — Two men were charged after they allegedly sold psilocybin mushrooms to an undercover state trooper in Lewisburg.

One of the men, Caleb Zachary Reedy, 28, of Lewisburg, sold the mushrooms to the undercover trooper on at least two occasions, according to court documents.

Trooper Jonathan Thompson of PSP Milton says Reedy and a second suspect, Koltyn Ril Brintzenhofe, 20, first met with the undercover trooper on Dec. 1, 2023 in Lewisburg. The two men sold the trooper four ounces for psilocybin mushrooms for $600, according to the affidavit.

Reedy met with the undercover trooper again in January 2024 in Lewisburg and sold them another four ounces for $600, according to the affidavit.

Prior to the meetups, Reedy communicated with the undercover trooper via text message.

Both men were charged with felony counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and criminal use of a communication facility. District Judge Jeffrey Rowe set Reedy’s bail at $25,000 unsecured. A warrant was issued for Brintzenhofe.
