Alex Buscher founded Buscher Law LLC in 2018 to provide legal advice to cannabis & hemp companies in Colorado and quickly realized most lawyers, bankers, and insurance companies were still not willing to take a risk on the legalized industry. This led to an expansion of practice areas in-house and an in-depth understanding of a wide array of separate yet interconnected areas of the law including business, real estate, asset protection, trusts & estates, food & drug, regulatory compliance, commercial transactions, and securities, among others.

Buscher is at the forefront of the evolving legal cannabis field through his work with the Colorado General Assembly to pass multiple cannabis-related bills, working with clients to create best practices and solutions in an industry that many times still lacks clear regulation, and by sitting on numerous state regulatory work groups including Marijuana Sunset and the Colorado Hemp Advancement and Management Plan (CHAMP).

Prior to completing law school at the University of Denver, Buscher attended Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN and worked in the music business for companies including Universal Music Group and William Morris Endeavor where he found his passion for the law.
