Alert: Maine – OMP Office Closed Due To Covid Concerns – Alternative Contact Information

Here’s how you can communicate with the office if you need to be in touch

Drop Box Now Available at OMP’s Augusta Office
In the interest of continuing to protect the health and safety of both stakeholders and our staff, the Maine Office of Marijuana Policy (OMP) remains closed to walk-in services.

Despite the closure, OMP is committed to continuing to serve our stakeholders. In effort to further serve Maine Medical Marijuana Program (MMMP) and Adult Use Marijuana Program (AUMP) stakeholders, OMP has added a drop box in the lobby of our 19 Union Street location for those individuals needing to submit paperwork and/or payments.

Please note: Staff are unable to assist visitors to our office. Regrettably, those visiting the office to seek in-person assistance will be turned away.

If choosing to make use of OMP’s drop box, cloth face coverings must be worn at all times between the moment when you exit and return to your vehicle. This includes the parking lot, sidewalk, and building lobby.

Stakeholders may continue to interact with the office in a variety of ways:

MMMP and AUMP-related applications and payments may still be submitted via the United States Postal Service or other common courier. AUMP applications—both individual identification cards and facility applications—are available online and payment may be remitted by mail. Tracking options are available to ensure delivery of your correspondence.

We apologize for any inconvenience you may experience as a result of these protocols and appreciate your understanding.
