As any Australian will know upper house results can take weeks before the dust settles and the preference deals have been negotiated.
As the sun comes up on Sunday the state has a new labor government?
Will cannabis be able to replicate upper house successes that have already occured in Western Australia & Victoria
According to the Australian Broadcasting Corporation coverage this is where we are at midday Sunday March 26 2023
So far cannabis has 70,000 odd votes and remembering that Labor have counted in 678K votes to win. That’s cannabis sitting at 10% of the Labor vote with virtually zero funding. Not exactly a bad result. Will it result in an upper house seat or two. We just don’t know yet
