Australia: Queensland police seize $68.5 million worth of cannabis from one farm

Police have uncovered $68.5 million worth of illegal cannabis plants in a major raid north of Bundaberg in Queensland.
Police raided the rural property in Rosedale on Tuesday where they discovered 13,670 cannabis plants hidden within 26 green houses, along with 15,088 grams of dried cannabis.
Six people, including two illegal migrants, were arrested at the scene.
It is the second major grow farm raid in Queensland this month, after police raided a property in Gungaloon on the Fraser Coast, on November 7.
Detectives estimate the drugs in Rosedale have a combined street value of approximately $68.5 million.
All six of the people arrested, who are aged between 27 and 40, have been charged with multiple drug offences and possession.
They have all been denied bail and will appear before court.
Police alleged two of the people arrested are illegal citizens of Australia, and have referred the case to Australian Border Force.
