Australia: Trio charged over alleged $5 million ‘dial-a-dealer’ cocaine ring running out of Sydney

Three men have been charged for allegedly operating a sophisticated $5 million drug ring out of Sydney‘s west.
A strike force was established in 2023 to investigate cocaine supply from a high-profile criminal network using the “dial-a-dealer” method, where a dealer is called and a meeting place is decided on to make the exchange.

Officers yesterday stormed three properties in Bass Hill and Parramatta, where three vehicles, multiple mobile phones, about $10,000 worth of luxury and designer goods, about $2000 cash and other relevant items were seized.
“Police will allege in court the syndicate were responsible for selling approximately 500 ‘bags’ of cocaine a week, generating approximately $5 million a year,” police said today.
Dramatic police vision showed a 22-year-old man being arrested at Bass Hill.
He was taken to Bankstown Police Station and charged with 13 offences including five counts of supplying prohibited drugs on an ongoing basis and participating in a criminal group.
