A West Australian teacher caught with MDMA and magic mushrooms following a police investigation into drug-laced lollipops at his son’s school has been banned from teaching for two years.
A science teacher at a private school in Busselton, Hamish Gibson, 44, was convicted of possessing the drugs with intent to sell or supply in September 2022 and handed a $5000 fine and suspended prison term.
