Australian man charged after the police discover and destroy farm estimated to be worth more than $8 million.
An Australian maintenance man who continued to cultivate a cannabis farm after it had been abandoned now faces charges.
The charges follow extensive inquiries by State Crime Command’s Drug and Firearms Squad detectives. “Police will allege in court the man — who was employed as a maintenance worker on the property — discovered the cannabis crop after it was abandoned in September 2020 and continued to take part in the cultivation of the plants,” the NSW Police report.
