A Baja California state police officer arrested last week in San Diego County on drug charges pleaded not guilty Tuesday in Chula Vista Superior Court.
Mizraim Gascón, an agent with the Baja California Citizen Security Force, faces counts of methamphetamine importation and possession for sale. The case was first reported by the Tijuana news site Punto Norte.
Gascón, 35, was arrested on Nov. 22 by the Sheriff’s Department, according to public records. Investigators and prosecutors would not release any details about the arrest or allegations.
