For several years, a Santa Ana, California dispensary, Farmacy, has been busing senior citizens from a large retirement community called Laguna Woods with over 16,000 residents and a Cannabis Club to the dispensary.
Laguna Woods is also a city that is considering approving a dispensary in the near future.
The seniors who take the bus can listen to vendor demonstrations that educate regarding testing labs and products. The vendor demonstrations provide education to the community. In previous years, the dispensary would time the bus visit with a visit from a local physician who could help answer questions the seniors had regarding cannabis use.
