The Cannabis Advisory Committee (CAC) will hold a Laboratory Subcommittee meeting on February 21, 2024, at 10:00 a.m.

The subcommittee will discuss the recent implementation of the SB 544 standard cannabinoid test method and standard operating procedures.

The meeting will be live-streamed and open to the public. Instructions for joining the virtual meeting are included in the agenda. No registration is required to join. Meeting materials will be posted to the DCC website as they become available.

The CAC advises the Department of Cannabis Control (DCC) on the development of standards and regulations for commercial cannabis businesses, including those necessary to protect public health and safety. The CAC provides an important venue for robust public discussions that support the development of an innovative regulatory framework that benefits all Californians and results in a safe, sustainable, and equitable cannabis market
