Canadian trucker charged as 60 ‘bricks’ of cocaine seized at border

Inspectors stopped a commercial truck as it was trying to enter Canada via the bridge in Windsor

Police have laid drug-smuggling charges against a Southwestern Ontario transport truck driver following the discovery of 60 bricks of cocaine in a vehicle at the Ambassador Bridge.

Inspectors with the Canada Border Services Agency stopped a commercial truck as it was trying to enter Canada via the bridge in Windsor on April 17. A secondary examination of the vehicle uncovered the contraband in its cabin.
