Cannabis Advisory Committee meeting

Join us virtually for the first meeting of the reconstituted Department of Cannabis Control’s (DCC) Cannabis Advisory Committee on Thursday, Sept. 8, 2022, starting at 10 am. A WebEx link for the meeting will be shared next week.
The meeting will include welcome remarks from DCC Director Nicole Elliott, an introduction of committee members, an overview of the Department and its goals for 2023, and a public comment period. The advisory committee is tasked with advising DCC on the development of relevant standards and regulations for commercial cannabis businesses, including those necessary to protect public health and safety.
DCC invites all those interested to tune into the meeting and provide public comments on relevant topics. The agenda will be available on DCC’s website on Monday, Aug. 29, 2022.
Cannabis Advisory Committee members are the first members appointed since DCC’s formation in 2021 and represent a cross section of subject matter experts, businesses and interest groups impacted by commercial cannabis activity across the state.
