Full Job Description
Boutique corporate law firm based in Washington, DC and South Florida, is seeking attorneys with 5+ years of experience representing financial institutions that deal with cannabis and other high risk industries.
Successful applicants will have the following experience:
- Drafting AML/KYC compliance programs for financial institutions that deal in high risk industries, specifically cannabis.
- CAMS training.
Experience representing financial institutions in mergers and acquisitions is a plus, but not required.
This is a part-time position, paid by the hour. All work is done remotely. The workflow will likely be uneven and could be as low as 2-3 hours some weeks and 15-20 others. Over time, it could evolve into a full-time position, depending on workflow and preferences of the attorney and firm.
Compensation ranges from $50/hour to $125/hour, depending on experience. Attorneys also receive compensation for bringing work into the firm.
