so working the numbers, being Australian nobody wants to work 7 days a week so lets say the doctor works 5 days a week and doesn’t do the full 11 hours a day but only 7.. it is australia there’s smokos to be had and all that sort of thing . the prescribing doctor can still pull in $AUD7,700 a week.

I hear you say, but the are qualified doctors and i don’t disagree but the key factor here is that all prescription are essentially of an unapproved medicine and once again I re-iterate this is why Australia needs a properly regulated adult use market because if the companies are paying doctors this much money it isn’t hard to extrapolate out the margins they are getting off the “patients”.

There’s a whole lot more subtext to the practice being based in Newtown but those who know know so I won’t go into that.

We are seeking a General Practitioner for a cannabis role available at our client’s medical centre in Newtown, NSW. The candidate must be a Cannabis medicine Authorised prescriber. This is a completely remote position that gives candidates the flexibility to work in any location. The ideal candidate will be offered an attractive remuneration package and will have the opportunity to be a part of a dedicated patient care team.
