Chamber of Cannabis Industry Ghana Appoints Priscilla Agoncillo as Board Advisor & U.S. Ambassador

The Chamber of Cannabis Industry Ghana (CCIG) is pleased to announce the appointment of Priscilla P. Agoncillo as Board Advisor & U.S. Ambassador. Priscilla brings over two decades of experience at the intersection of cannabis policy, business, and activism, making her an invaluable addition to the Chamber’s leadership.

A globally recognized expert in the cannabis industry, Priscilla has been instrumental in pioneering cannabis legislation, education, and business development. She transitioned from the banking sector to launch one of the first cannabis dispensaries in Orange County, California, in 2009 and played a key role in California’s historic Proposition 19 campaign. As a federally registered Cannabis Lobbyist, she continues to influence legislation and policy worldwide.

Priscilla has also made significant contributions to cannabis education, serving as faculty at Oaksterdam University since 2008, where she helped establish professional cannabis education programs. She currently serves as Chairwoman of Oaksterdam University’s ONE organization and holds board positions in several industry-leading organizations.

Her entrepreneurial impact is equally impressive. Priscilla has co-founded and advised numerous pioneering cannabis ventures, including RVR Distribution (the industry’s first cannabis distribution company), Chong’s Choice (the first celebrity cannabis brand), and MandaraPharma (Colombia’s first cannabis pharmaceutical company). As Co-Founder of Original Breeders League, she has worked with top cannabis breeders, universities, and researchers to drive innovation in cannabis genetics.

With her deep expertise and global network, Priscilla will play a crucial role in advancing the Chamber’s mission of fostering a sustainable and thriving cannabis industry in Ghana. Her appointment strengthens CCIG’s commitment to responsible cannabis policy, investment, and industry growth.

We warmly welcome Priscilla Agoncillo to the Chamber and look forward to her leadership in bridging the U.S. and Ghanaian cannabis industries.
