Changa Institute Launches Colorado’s First State-Approved Psilocybin Facilitator Training Program, Expanding Access to Psychedelic Therapy Education
PORTLAND, OR and ASPEN, CO / ACCESSWIRE / July 23, 2024 / Changa Institute, a leader in psychedelic-assisted therapy and wellness training, is excited to announce the expansion of its accredited certification program to Colorado. On July 17, Changa Institute received pre-approval from the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) to provide training and certification to Colorado psilocybin facilitators. Colorado is the second state to legalize psilocybin services, including production and administration. Starting September 9, 2024, Changa Institute will offer comprehensive training in psilocybin facilitation in Colorado, approved by the Board of Higher Education, OHA, DORA, and the Office of Natural Medicine.

Virtual Training with Real-World Impact
The new Colorado psilocybin certification program will be delivered virtually, allowing participants to engage in live training sessions via Zoom. The curriculum combines lectures, case studies, and role plays to provide an immersive and practical learning experience. Upon completion, students will participate in practicum placements, gaining hands-on experience at service centers operated by Changa alumni in Oregon.
