On Monday, Oct. 21, the Natural Medicine Division (Division) will host the continuation of the permanent rulemaking hearing regarding initial application and license compliance fees for the Regulated Natural Medicine Program. During the hearing, the Division will present the final proposed fees, which were discussed at the Aug. 28 work group meeting and the Sept. 16 first fee hearing.
The permanent rulemaking hearing will be held virtually only. The agenda and draft rules are now available on the Division’s website and in the Division’s Public Resources-Rulemaking Materials folder.
The permanent rulemaking hearing provides a final opportunity for stakeholders to make oral comments on the draft proposed rules during the public forum. We invite all interested parties to participate. Please see the enclosed agenda (linked above) for additional information and resources to help you prepare your attendance, engagement, and any comments you may wish to share. Please review the agenda and final draft proposed rules to provide informed comments on Monday, Oct. 21. All rulemaking information is available on the Division’s rulemaking webpage.

Interested stakeholders are also encouraged to submit comments on the draft rules using the Division’s written comment form. The Division will accept written comments until 5 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 21. Not all comments will be incorporated into the final adopted rules, but may inform future rulemaking proceedings.
