The Drug Law Enforcement Unit (YKAN) has seized 30 kilogrammes of cocaine following an intelligence-led operation. The drugs were discovered in hand luggage inside a shipping container.
The discovery was made on 13 November in a container that had arrived from abroad. After receiving information, YKAN officers confiscated the cocaine.
Investigations are ongoing both in Cyprus and internationally, authorities said.
