Bavaria: 24 applications from cultivation associations
09/02/2024 | A total of 24 applications for cannabis cultivation associations have been submitted in Bavaria since July 1, 2024. However, none of these applications have yet been approved, as they are all still under review, reports Merkur.
Over 280 applications have been submitted nationwide so far, with some federal states such as Lower Saxony having already issued permits. In Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg, on the other hand, no permits have yet been issued. The delays in Bavaria are also related to the training courses for operators, which are not planned until September. The Bavarian Ministry of Health is planning a restrictive approval procedure with at least four inspections per year.
