LUMDING: Lumding has been a hotspot for illegal trade for some time now and it is evident from the fact that such items have been caught several times in the locality. In yet another incident of the same category, Lumding police were able to capture a good amount of narcotic substances. Acting based on specific inputs, a team from the Lumding Police Station carried out an operation near the Lumding Railway Station on the morning of Thursday. They were able to seize a total of 40 kilos of cannabis. They were also able to apprehend a suspected pedler regarding the incident.
