Indonesia: Jakarta Police Seize 2,500 LSD Sheets from Germany

Jakarta. The Jakarta Police have uncovered a case involving the distribution of lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD) drugs, commonly known as “acid,” imported from Germany. A total of 2,500 sheets of LSD were confiscated.

“We have arrested a suspect named NK, who was identified as a courier and distributor of LSD,” stated Hengki, the Director of Narcotics, during a press briefing at the Jakarta Police Headquarters on Friday.

Hengki revealed that NK acquired the LSD from Germany, dispatched through the courier service JNE. “LSD falls under the category of a class 1 narcotic,” added Hengki.

The LSD, as described by Hengki, is presented in the form of stamps adorned with cartoon motifs. He highlighted that teenagers in Jakarta are among the consumers of this LSD.
