During the operation, the police officers checked a scooter rider and revealed during their inspection that inside the scooter was seized a ‘hash plate’ weighing about half a kilo, which were allegedly intended for trafficking and distribution. The suspect, a 21-year-old resident of Haifa, was arrested for questioning at the Haifa station, and ended up in jail.
According to the needs of the investigation and its findings, the police will ask to extend his detention at the court in Haifa.
