Anti-drug raid in Afragola by the local carabinieri who arrested Domenico De Rosa and his 45-year-old partner for drug possession with intent to distribute. Both are locals, and he is already known to law enforcement. The carabinieri searched the couple’s home and there found and seized 1.5 kilograms of hashish and 380 grams of marijuana. During the search, a sum of 5,935 euros in cash, believed to be proceeds from the crime, was also found and seized. Various manuscripts and agendas were seized, likely used for the accounting of the drug trafficking, as well as a precision scale and material for packaging the drugs. The arrested were transferred to the prisons of Poggioreale and Pozzuoli at the disposal of the judicial authority.
