Italy: Major Drug Bust in San Giovanni a Teduccio: Two Arrested with 190 Kilos of Hashish

Nearly 2,000 blocks of hashish, totaling 190 kilos, were found in a warehouse in San Giovanni a Teduccio. Two individuals, aged 31 and 35, already known to law enforcement, were arrested in the anti-drug raid by the investigative unit of the Carabinieri from Castello di Cisterna. 20,000 euros in cash were also found. When the officers entered the premises in the eastern district of Naples, they caught the two suspects as they were preparing to leave with part of the drugs, which, according to the Carabinieri, was likely destined for a large part of the province of Naples. The two had delivery backpacks to disguise themselves as food couriers and blend into the city traffic on a Saturday night. The arrested individuals have been taken to prison.
