Legalise Cannabis NSW remains on track to elect Jeremy Buckingham as its first upper house MP with almost all votes initially counted.
With 21 seats up for grabs in this election cycle, the ABC has Labor winning eight, the Coalition six, two for the Greens and one each for Legalise Cannabis, One Nation, the Liberal Democrats and the Shooters/Fishers/Farmers.
The final seat looks like a toss up between the Coalition and the Animal Justice Party.
Legalise Cannabis currently has 164,199 votes (3.61%), with below-the-line votes not included in the initial count.
The result is expected to be finalised next week.
