A criminal group has been seen that has printed money from selling drugs originating from a company that has been registered to raise cannabis for medical purposes. At the head of the group is the former mayor of Novo Selo, Boro Stojchev. In addition to Stojchev, 9 other people have been arrested.
„ Today, police officers deprived 10 people, four of whom from Gevgelia, three from Strumica, two from Struga and one person from Demir Kapia. In doing so, searches have been conducted at four locations in Strumica, Struga, Gevgelia and Bitola and material evidence has been provided, ie money and a larger amount of narcotic drugs originating from a legal entity registered to perform activity breeding of spicy, aromatic and medicinal plants intended for medical purposes“, informed Interior Minister Panche Toshkovski.
The detainees will be brought before a judge of the previous proceedings, and the drugs will be given to expertise.
The drug from which the drug originates is „ Eco Energy Cosmos“. Originally established for electricity generation, but in 2020 it changes the activity for breeding spice, aromatic and medicinal plants for use in the pharmacy, practically when he received a license from the Ministry of Health to view cannabis. And from the beginning of the year it is in bankruptcy proceedings.
Boro Stojchev was nominated for mayor of SDSM in 2017.
