A Michigan man was arrested and charged after he dropped a small bag of cocaine while at self-checkout inside a Walmart, according to police.
Robert Centala, 59, has been arraigned in the 88th District Court in Alpena County on one count of possession of cocaine less than 25 grams.
He was given a $2,500 cash bond.
On Monday night, a Michigan State Police trooper was called to the Walmart store in Alpena Township for a report of a plastic baggie containing a white powdery substance later identified as cocaine. Store surveillance footage was reviewed, which showed Centala using a self-checkout device to make a purchase.
