A 41-year-old man has been arrested after police busted a cannabis factory worth almost £60,000.
West Midlands Police raided the address in the Lower Gornal area of Dudley after acting on a tip-off.
Dudley North Police tweeted about the incident at 9.15am today, December 30, sharing a photograph of the scene on Woodfield Road.
Dozens of cannabis plants were seen growing in plant pots inside a room, surrounding by artificial lights, one sheets and a thermometer.
Dudley North Police tweeted: “Following intelligence received a warrant has been executed in Lower Gornal. One male is under arrest and a large quantity of cannabis plants recovered.”
A cannabis plant has an average street value of £1,000. West Midlands Police said 59 plants were discovered, meaning the find had an estimated value of £59,000.
A spokeswoman for the force said: “A 41-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of cannabis cultivation.”
