The Massachusetts CCC announced today –among a whirlwind of controversy and active discussions by the State Inspector General, and lawmakers on Beacon Hill, to put the agency under receivership due to a conflagrating internal power struggle and reports of serious abuse of female staff members– that the agency is going to attempt to undertake a small series of regulatory revisions over the coming months (which will come as horrifying news to state lawmakers, and the OIG, as the agency seems to be throwing everything it can at the wall to avoid addressing it’s internal issues).
This is a shocking play by an agency in free fall.
